Our Kampot pepper producer had a dream

A long time ago, her mother gave her a postcard that she received from her father: "Be up to your ambitions". Our producer did his best to follow this simple but powerful advice. With the help of his team and his partners, he was able to realize this dream:

Create a community living in harmony in a small paradise in Asia, while producing a higher quality product and respecting nature. Kampot's emblematic pepper was a perfect product and the Khmer people were so welcoming that they could not resist.

special and manual attention for this exceptional pepper:

With their local team of around twenty employees, it tirelessly pays all the tasks necessary for the cultivation of this prestigious pepper: watering the trees, using groundwater in the dry season, removed The flowers of young trees, dig holes to make room for natural fertilizer (cow dung), cut the ever -growing grass to prevent insects from spreading and not forgetting the annual harvest.

Their manure consists of cow's dung and bat Guano. No pesticides, no chemicals. They respect nature by producing 100% biological pepper.

a strong social commitment

He first provides his staff with a competitive salary, health insurance, monthly food allowance and farm accommodation. This commitment allows him to maintain a stable team with a balanced mixture of young and experienced farmers.

His social commitment is not limited to our local community. They have teamed up with a Cambodian professional pastry school located in Siem Reap, to which they give their pepper to support their fundraising. The school forms pastry chefs but also provides jobs to women in the region who sow small krama bags, which then serve to contain our kampot pepper. These bags are then sold in different places to collect funds that are used by our partner "Bayon School" in order to give access to education to children in the region who cannot afford it.

fair for life

Our producer is the first company certified by Fair for Life in Cambodia. The Fair For Life label promotes an approach to fair trade that allows all producers and disadvantaged workers in a socio-economic level to have access to a wider range of social and economic advantages. The fair trade is part of a broader context of sustainable development at the level of a region, and must allow the maintenance of the local social fabric, in particular in rural areas.

In addition his kampot peppers ( black , Yellow , Red ) are on the best tables in France and we are proud to offer it to you! < /p>
