Sichuan Pepper Chicken

  • 300 g chicken fillet
  • 1 green onion (or spring onion)
  • 1 ginger core (1 inch size)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sichuan pepper
  • 5 Fresh red chillies (or capsicum if you are not used to spicy)

Preparation tips

Chicken the chicken.

Add to it soy and rice vinegar. leave Mariner 30mn.

Cut the peppers (choose peppers and the number according to your appreciation of the spice). Cut the green onion, garlic and ginger into a rings.

In a pan, brown the chicken and put aside. In the same pan, add oil, peppers, sichuan pepper and brown.

Add the chicken, ginger and garlic, soy sauce, a teaspoon of sugar (or honey). Cook 5 minutes.

finally add the green onion and sesame oil. Serve immediately accompanied by basmati rice.
